You can read every show, band, venue, and presenter without an account. Reading takes no name, no email, and no sign-in. There are no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, no analytics scripts, and no third-party scripts that follow you. Nothing about your visit is sold or shared.

An account does one thing: follow bands, so their shows get flagged in the calendar. Making one is optional. An account stores exactly this:

• Your username.
• Your password, hashed. The plain password is never written down.
• Your email, only if you type one in. It is optional and can be blank or removed at any time.
• The bands you follow.
• Your show alert preferences.

That is the whole record. No name, no location, no phone number, no contacts, no device identifiers, no payment details.

The same desk publishes this register and the Naptown Wail, the DIY show register for Indianapolis. The two papers share one account database, so an account made on either one signs in on the other, carrying the same follows. The show listings are separate: neither paper's calendar appears in the other. Deleting your account deletes it from both.

If you give an email it is used to send show alerts for bands you follow, and for nothing else. It is never sold, rented, shared, or used for marketing. There is no newsletter attached to it.

Signing in sets one cookie. It holds your session so you are not asked to sign in on every visit, it expires after 90 days, and it is used for nothing else. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Delete your account from the account panel on the site, or from the Account tab in either app. Your account, your email, and every band you follow are deleted immediately from the database. There is no undo and there is no backup copy held back.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Account records are stored in a Neon Postgres database. Both are service providers acting for the register, not audiences for your data. Alert emails, when they are switched on, are sent through Resend.

Show listings, band names, venues, and presenters are public information about public events, gathered by hand and by scraper. They are not personal data about readers. If you are on a bill here and want a correction, write the desk.

The register is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
